The Role of Your Foreskin

by | Nov 5, 2021 | Blog

Your foreskin contains (or contained, before it was surgically removed) more nerve endings per square inch than almost any other part of your body. It’s what makes sex feel so good. Strange then, that some cultures choose to remove it. The “health” arguments have all been debunked these days, leaving only religious or aesthetic apologists – none of whose arguments make much sense. The truth is, unless a male is suffering from an intractable case of phimosis, then circumcision is rarely the right call, given the potential for harm.

Circumcision leaves the head of the penis (the “glans”) without the skin protection, as well as the natural lubrication that nature intended. Without that protection, the glans rubs against underwear etc. and over the years, the dermis (skin) can  become keratinized (thicker) and less sensitive. No wonder then, that so many cut men are looking into foreskin restoration as a way of covering their penis and returning sensation back into their penises.

Dew Serum is a proud supporter of the values of NORM and the “intactivist” movement in general. We believe men have the sole right to determine what happens to their bodies and should not have vital body parts for sexual function removed without their consent. In today’s world, circumcision is nothing more than a cosmetic, procedure. As such, the male should be 18 and give his consent if and when ready.

Most uncircumcised or “intact” guys probably won’t need our product, although many may find it a benefit on the shaft of their penises if they are “ashy.” For those who have been cut, or have bad circumcision scaring, insensitivity, itching or redness etc. we hope that Dew Serum will help restore natural levels of moisture and promote healthy penile skin.

For those who are actively restoring their foreskins, and who endure long weeks and months of stretching, we salute you and trust that Dew Serum will help soothe your penis during downtime. Dew will help keep your penis skin soft and supple, ready for more punishment at the next round! Remember to use it after stretching, not during, as your tugger could slip. The best time to apply our balm is right before bed. That leaves all night for the full moisturizing effects to take place.
